What started as a personal passion project has grown into a collection of over 40 original fairy tales, dozens of movies, and a growing community of readers from around the world. The Vision
The creator of Buran Story, Ocza Suon, is an IT professional from Cambodia who has always loved two things: technology and storytelling. Growing up in Cambodia, he was surrounded by the rich tradition of Khmer fairy tales — stories about magical lotus flowers, brave princesses, kind-hearted village children, and the ancient temples of Angkor. These stories shaped his understanding of the world and gave him a deep love for his culture.
Combining Two Passions
When Ocza decided to create Buran Story, his goal was simple: to use technology to preserve and share the beautiful storytelling tradition of Cambodia. He wanted to create a platform that would be accessible to Cambodian children growing up in a digital world, as well as to curious readers around the globe who wanted to discover something new and magical.
